England at the World Cup

England are in Group L and are expected to advance deep into the tournament. Panama vs. England on June 27 at MetLife is the group stage fixture that will bring the biggest crowd to Midtown. As an Irish bar two minutes from Penn Station, Tara Mór is the natural home for English and Irish-American fans watching the tournament this summer — the atmosphere on match days here is as close to a pub back home as you'll find in New York.

What to Expect on Match Days

Multiple screens across the bar and restaurant floor no bad seats. Full kitchen running all day: the spice bag, Irish breakfast, Sunday roast on Sundays. Sound on for every match.

For the MetLife games, the knockouts, and the final, walk-ins are welcome but a reservation is the right call. Groups of ten or more should contact us about private match-day bookings.

We open when the first match kicks off early morning European start times included.

Getting Here and Getting to MetLife

From Penn Station: Two minutes on foot west along 30th Street. We're at number 150.

For MetLife matches: NJ Transit runs direct to the stadium from Penn Station on match days. Pre-match pint at Tara Mor, train to East Rutherford, then back the same way. It's the most direct route from Manhattan to the stadium and you pass us both ways.
